Our ground sits in the Orogrande Mining District, worked by a succession of owners since hard-rock mining commenced in 1903. We are not starting on bare ground.

A district that has been mined before

Previous owners established underground access at Friday and a processing facility at Orogrande. Both are on care and maintenance. Our capital can go into drilling rather than into building access.

Existing development and processing

Leasehold interests over 5 patented claims and interests associated with 103 unpatented claims at Friday, 69 unpatented claims at Buffalo Gulch and 22 at Deadwood, along the Orogrande Shear Zone.

A consolidated land position

386 drillholes totalling more than 145,000 feet have been drilled at Friday across six phases since 1984. AMC Consultants notes limited QA/QC data supporting the historical assays, which is what our first programme addresses.

A substantial historical dataset

10 diamond drillholes for 11,900 feet at the Friday Gold Mine, focused on the five patented lease claims, expected to commence in the second half of CY2026 with modern QA/QC procedures.

A budgeted first programme

No Mineral Resource, no Ore Reserve, no production and no operating revenue. AMC Consultants concluded there has been insufficient exploration to define an Exploration Target. An investment in Elk Range Mining is speculative.

Our tenure runs along the Orogrande Shear Zone, a regionally significant structural corridor associated with multiple gold occurrences. The Friday Gold Mine sits at the southern end, with the Buffalo Gulch and Deadwood exploration projects to the north, all within a single consolidated land position near Elk City, Idaho.

The map below shows interpreted geology, drill collars and recorded gold and antimony occurrences across the project area. It is a geological and tenure map. No Mineral Resource or Ore Reserve has been estimated for the Idaho Gold Project in accordance with the JORC Code, and recorded occurrences are not an indication that economic mineralisation is present.

We are Elk Range Mining, an Australian headquartered gold explorer focused on our Idaho Gold Project, near Elk City in Idaho's Orogrande Mining District. We are an exploration company: we have no Mineral Resource, no Ore Reserve, no production and no operating revenue.

What we do have is a consolidated land position across a district that has been mined before, six phases of drilling completed by previous owners since 1984, existing underground development, a processing facility on site, and the proceeds of our IPO to go and test it. The mine and the plant have both been on care and maintenance since early 2022. Our initial focus is exploration, technical evaluation and resource growth activities rather than near-term production.

Our strategy is disciplined and modern. We are validating historic mineralisation with modern QA/QC procedures, working towards Mineral Resources estimated and reported in accordance with the JORC Code, and defining the scale of the opportunity across the Orogrande Shear Zone. It is uncertain whether further work will allow historical or foreign estimates to be reported as Mineral Resources. An investment in Elk Range Mining is speculative.
